AstraZeneca in Ireland seeks an Associate Director for Global Medical Information and Medical Review to lead global information services within a therapeutic area, overseeing medical review of materials and ensuring timely deliverables. The role requires in-depth product knowledge and strong governance across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing and approving global materials, providing medical/regulatory guidance to commercial teams, and maintaining SOPs.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree with 5+ years in medical information or medical affairs in pharma/biotech.
• Experience reviewing local/regional promotional/nonpromotional materials.
• Knowledge of drug development, regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ability to develop medical information response documents from labeled sources.

Responsabilités

• Lead global medical information and medical review for assigned therapeutic area(s).
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Provide medical/regulatory guidance to commercial teams on disease/product claims.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs leads to align nonpromotional materials with medical strategy.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and working practice documents; support local reviewers.
• Lead medical information booth activities at scientific meetings and manage resources.
