Job summary

Itron is seeking a Leasing Accountant in Ireland to manage international lease accounting, reconcile ledgers, and maintain lease data in the CoStar system, ensuring compliance with US GAAP (ASC 842) and strong internal controls.

This 12-month fixed-term role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, fluent English, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Corporate Accounting and GBS. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Lease Accounting for International entities.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Manage day-to-day Lease Accounting for International entities.
• Responsible for the upload and maintenance of lease records within the CoStar system.
• Responsible for supporting the timely and accurate review and posting of month-end close and accounting transactions related to leasing; P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution.
• Ensure financial records are in compliance with US GAAP.
• Consistently maintain appropriate internal controls and uphold company policies & procedures.
• Build relationships with and support key contacts in Corporate Accounting, GBS, and global entities.
• Compliance with SOX requirements and testing.
• Support Internal and External Audits.
