Hach, part of the Veralto group, is hiring a GL Accountant to join our European accounting team. The role is hybrid and based in Cork with flexibility across Wroclaw and Berlin locations. You will manage monthly closes, journal entries, reconciliations and statutory returns while supporting a major ERP transformation to Oracle Fusion in 2027.

The ideal candidate has ACA qualification, strong GAAP knowledge and excellent Excel skills, with fluent English and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA) with professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Local GAAP and US GAAP accounting ledgers.
• Excellent MS Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes with timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting transactions.
• Assist with audits and statutory filings including VAT/Intrastat as required.
• Support payroll-related accounting and local GAAP adjustments.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with external providers.
