Job summary

Craddock House Nursing Home in Naas, Co. Kildare, on-site, is hiring a Health Care Assistant (HCA) for a permanent, full-time position. You will support residents with daily living activities, promote dignity, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

Experience in elder care and excellent communication, teamwork, and motivational skills are essential. A QQI Level 5 in healthcare or an allied health degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in healthcare (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience in elder care.
• Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare related degree accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting equality and dignity.
• Carry out daily living activities (washing, toileting, dressing, dining, social activities).
• Respect privacy and promote independence for residents.
