Jones Engineering is looking for a Geospatial Surveyor/Site Engineer to join our Collinstown team. You will perform field and office surveying, set out construction works, and ensure data accuracy for project delivery.

Work includes BIM-enabled workflows, use of Total Stations and laser scanners, and collaboration with clients and contractors in progress meetings. A degree in surveying/geomatics or engineering is expected, with strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong data analysis and construction surveying knowledge.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and project scopes.
• Proficient with MS Office and survey software.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed field and office surveying including Survey Control Network, Laser Scanning and Setting Out.
• Prepare and analyse data for construction accuracy and reporting.
• Utilise Total Stations and Mobile Laser Scanning devices in daily work.
• Attend Daily/Weekly meetings with Client and Contractors to discuss progress and deliver reports.
• Support other duties as required by the contractor.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Geospatial Surveyor/Site Engineer to join our team at our Collinstown facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed field and office surveying work (Survey Control Network / Laser Scanning / Setting Out).
• Prepare and analyse data for construction accuracy.
• Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations and Mobile Laser Scanning devices.
• Work with Post processing software such as AutoCAD, Leica Infinity, Navvis Ivion, Register 360, Starnet, Navisworks, etc
• Attend Daily/Weekly Meetings with Client and Contractors to discuss project progress and deliver reports.
• Any other duties as required by the contractor.

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum (Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) or relevant experience.
• Demonstrable levels of technical knowledge with practical application.
• Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
• A high degree of computer literacy and familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with Excellent communication skills.
• Possess a full driving licence.
