Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland invites applications for a Genomic Resource Associate within the Clinical Genetics work stream. You will support patient access, coordinate information for MDT meetings, and oversee documentation and data systems central to the patient journey.

The role includes direct patient contact, collaboration with genetics staff, and data management to support KPI monitoring and audit processes. Strong communication and healthcare IT experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Clerical Officer in HSE, TUSLA or similar statutory health body
• Leaving Certificate with Maths and English/Irish; Grade C on higher level in three subjects
• Comparable qualification or level 6+ in Healthcare Management (QQI)
• Experience in a clinical environment with patient contact
• Experience with hospital/healthcare IT systems and data management

Responsibilities

• Support patient access and integrated care delivery in Genetics pathway
• Coordinate information for MDT discussions and case reviews
• Maintain essential documentation and data systems for the patient journey
• Manage activity data for KPI monitoring and audits
• Direct patient contact as part of the genetics assessment team
