SETU strives for excellence in the provision of high-quality learning environments for our learners. This role is instrumental to the continuous delivery of this objective.

The Gen AI Academic Lead will assist in the definition of strategic priorities, shape how AI integrates into digital transformation efforts and ensure AI supports long-term University goals in the areas of teaching, learning and assessment. They will also work alongside the AI Solutions/Operations Lead in empowering our professional, managerial and support staff in delivering on the capability of Generative AI for our wider operations.

The role will be pivotal in delivering AI capabilities that enable solutions delivering substantial value to our university and enable the ongoing transformation of teaching, learning and assessment. Core responsibilities include overseeing piloting and testing AI solutions, aligning AI use cases with University strategy, guiding deployment governance and reporting to Executive Management Team.

This is a multi-campus role, and the nature of the role requires interaction with Executive, Faculties, Management, staff and students across all SETU campuses.
