Job summary

Centric Health Primary Care Limited in Limerick is seeking a registered General Practice Nurse for a permanent part-time role. The position includes immunisations, phlebotomy, chronic disease management, and patient health promotion within our community clinics across Doonmoon Medical and Windmill Court Medical.

The role requires NMBI registration, excellent English communication, and flexibility to cover 19 hours per week on Wed/Thu/Fri. Irish living address required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered General Nurse with the NMBI.
• Experienced in phlebotomy and vaccination administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Immunisation: administering infant, childhood, flu and other vaccines.
• Travel medicine: administering travel vaccinations and giving travel advice.
• Chronic disease management: monitor cholesterol, provide dietary advice and BP checks.
• Nursing duties: health promotion, education and patient triage.

Working Hours

• 19 hours Wednesday (8.30 am - 5.00 pm) / Thursday (1.00 pm - 5.00 pm) & Friday (9.00 am - 5.30 pm)

Salary Range

• €26 €28 depending on experience

Position Requirements

• Must be a Registered General Nurse with the NMBI
• Experienced in Phlebotomy
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills
• Computer literate
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Flexible attitude to changing work practices
• Must be living in Ireland with an Irish address at the time of application
• Must have 2 years post-graduation experience in a hospital setting
