Job summary

AbbVie in Manorhamilton Road, Sligo, is recruiting a General Operator for a 12-month fixed-term contract on site. The role involves rotational shifts and is based in our manufacturing facilities.

Key duties include pharmaceutical processing activities, team coordination, and documentation in line with cGMP. The role also covers cross-training, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and commissioning and validation activities, with 24/7 coverage on a 4-week cycle.

Qualifications

• Leaving Cert or equivalent.
• Experience in a highly automated environment.
• Good IT skills required.

Your key responsibilities:

• Pharmaceutical processing activities in our manufacturingbuilding and support locations.

Additional Information

24/7 rotating shift pattern over a 4-week cycle, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Shifts alternate between 08:00–20:00 and 20:00–08:00. Working hours vary by week according to the rota.
