Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking a Forklift Driver to operate forklifts, unload deliveries, and move goods within a busy warehouse environment. The role requires safe handling of pallets, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

The successful candidate will help maintain safety standards, keep work areas clear of obstructions, and support warehouse operations during peak periods.

The Role:A Forklift Driver, or Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and moving goods around warehouses and other industrial sites. Their duties include using forklifts to unload deliveries, stacking boxes for storage and moving wooden pallets around the warehouse.Responsibilities:Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environmentsSafely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or palletsMoving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transportUnloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areasEnsuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructionsRegularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damagesUsing industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transportKeeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating proceduresConsolidating partial pallets for incoming goodsHousekeeping – ensuring a clean and safe work environmentCandidate Requirements :Experience working in a warehouse environmentFlexibility: It is essential that the candidate be able to provide flexibility to the function.
