Join a leading forest nursery in South Wexford as a General Nursery Operative, focusing on tractor driving, machinery maintenance, and crop care. This full‑time position offers steady hours, seasonal variety, and opportunities to upskill while working outdoors. This role is only available to those with the right to work within the EU. No employment permits are available and we will not sponsor employment permits or visas for non‑EEA nationals.

The Role

This is a full‑time role based in South Wexford, offering €14.50 per hour. As a General Nursery Operative, you will focus on tractor driving, machine operation, and maintenance to support the day‑to‑day running of a forest nursery.

Key Duties

• Operating and maintaining tractors and nursery machinery.
• Carrying out essential nursery practices such as groundworks, spraying, fertilising, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Monitoring crops and reporting pest, disease, or other issues to the nursery manager.
• Working closely with other full‑time and part‑time staff.
• Participating in training courses for upskilling and health & safety.
• Attending monthly operational meetings.
• Assisting at other nursery bases as required.

Standard working hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.
