Job summary

Jacquet in Limerick, PA is seeking a General Laborer (1st Shift) to support warehouse operations. You will perform material handling, mark parts to specifications, grind slag, and assist with machine maintenance.

Requirements include a minimum of 18 years, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read/write English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift experience is a plus as training may be provided.

JACQUET is an established market leader in the distribution of stainless steel and nickel alloys in plate and round bar. Metals are sold either as-is or cut to made-to-measure sizes using plasma machines, water jets, lasers or saws. Jacquet applications cover many industrial sectors such as the water, environment, energy, mechanical and forged metal construction, chemical and agri-food, gas processing and storage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. We have four strategically placed locations within the US including Pennsylvania, California, Texas, and Wisconsin with many more globally.

We are currently seeking a General Laborer (1st Shift) at our Limerick, PA facility. The 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. We offer training, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The General Laborer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks to support the service center operations.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move, position oneself, ascend/descend and prepare and operate machinery and tools. Employee will need to communicate in loud noise environments and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to activate hand and foot controls for equipment operation and tolerate changes in temperate. Must be able to wear safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection and any other necessary PPE.

Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour depending upon experience
