Job summary

Amundi Ireland is seeking a motivated professional to join the Trade Management Team, supporting the trading process and acting as a liaison between trading desks and back-office functions. You will monitor FX trade settlements, ensure timely instructions to custodians, and maintain SSIs across counterparties.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Compliance, Risk, Client Services and external partners, with English fluency required and French a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience and relevant qualifications.
• Experience in Trade Matching and Settlement with good knowledge of SWIFT and settlement workflows.
• Understanding of the lifecycle of an FX trade (Spot, Forward, NDF, FX Option) and implications with the NAV calculation process.
• Knowledge of FXALL and Alert desirable.
• Fluent English. French an added benefit (not a requirement)

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the traders and escalate issues with brokers as required.
• Ensure FX instructions are sent to custodians and fund accounting within agreed cut-off times.
• Monitor the settlement status of all FX trades and investigate issues with brokers or custodians directly.
• Ensure new funds are correctly set up within the trading system and reflect changes on internal and external platforms.
• Set up new approved brokers in the Trading System.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Client Services and other teams to resolve trade-flow queries.
• Build and maintain relationships with custodians, fund accountants and brokers.
• Participate in broker or third-party reviews to discuss and resolve problems.
• Investigate and resolve any interest claims arising from trade-flow issues.
• Ensure SSIs are maintained in databases and communicated to counterparties.
• Participate in core projects locally and globally as required.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic and growing company.

Why this role is important to us

The Trade Management Team support Investments with the trading process and act as an intermediary between the Trading desks and the Back office functions. The team monitor and oversee the Trade Matching and Settlement process for all FX transactions. This is a key role in the organisation to ensure the investment decisions are accurately and timely reflected in the NAV of our funds.

What you will be responsible for

• Liaise with the traders and escalates issues with brokers as required.
• Ensure FX instructions are sent to custodians and fund accounting within agreed cut-off times.
• Monitor the settlement status of all FX trades and investigating any highlighted issues with brokers or custodians directly.
• Ensure any new funds are correctly setup within the trading system and any fund changes are correctly reflected both internally and on external platforms.
• Setup any new approved brokers in the Trading System.
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Client Services and any other internal support teams to resolve queries or issues related to the trade flow.
• Build and maintain relationships with all third parties involved with the trading and settlement process including custodians, fund accountants and brokers.
• Participate and contribute with any broker or third parties reviews to ensure any problems are discussed and resolved.
• Investigate and resolve any interest claims which have arisen from problems with the trade flow.
• Ensure SSIs are maintained in databases and communicated to counterparties.
• Participate in core projects both locally and globally as required.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
