Job summary

J&B Furniture in Limerick is seeking an experienced sales professional to turn enquiries into orders through showroom consultations and telephone sales. You’ll actively win new business and build relationships with interior designers and property professionals.

You will manage the full sales cycle from first enquiry to confirmed order, maintain accurate records, and aim to meet ambitious targets. Base salary €30,000–€33,000 with commission and realistic on-target earnings €40,000–€45,000.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' sales experience with a proven record of achieving targets.
• Strong telephone and face-to-face selling skills.

J&B Furniture is a family-owned furniture retailer in Limerick, established in 2010, offering furniture for the whole home – including made-to-order sofas with a wide choice of fabrics, leathers, layouts and functions. We are looking for a confident, motivated sales professional to grow sales through showroom consultations, telephone sales and proactive customer outreach.

Your responsibilities

• Sell furniture through face-to-face consultations in our showroom and over the phone.


• Understand customers' needs, budgets and room dimensions, and recommend suitable products.


• Clearly explain product quality, materials, features and customisation options.


• Prepare accurate quotations, handle objections and confidently close sales.


• Follow up enquiries and quotations to help customers reach a decision.


• Proactively identify and approach new private and business customers.


• Build relationships with interior designers, landlords and property professionals.


• Keep accurate customer records and work towards agreed sales targets.

What we offer

• Basic salary of €30,000–€33,000 (depending on experience) plus performance-based commission – realistic on-target earnings of €40,000–€45,000. Full commission terms agreed in writing before you start.

Hours

Full-time preferred; part-time applications are also welcome (salary pro rata). Working pattern agreed at interview.
