As the company continues to develop and expand its product offering, we are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their development team.

The role

You will design, build and improve scalable software products used within a demanding, real-world travel environment.

Working across the full development lifecycle, you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, help shape technical decisions and collaborate closely with product, design and engineering colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, React.js and Express.js
• Build scalable back-end services, APIs and integrations
• Develop responsive, intuitive and high-quality user interfaces
• Design and work with MongoDB databases and data models
• Build, deploy and support cloud-based applications hosted on AWS
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the continued evolution of the technology platform

What we are looking for

• Strong commercial software engineering experience within a product-based technology environment
• Extensive experience developing applications with Node.js
• Strong front-end development experience using React.js
• Practical experience building APIs and back-end services with Express.js
• Strong experience working with MongoDB
• Excellent commercial exposure and work experience with TypeScript
• Commercial experience building and deploying applications within AWS
• A solid understanding of software architecture, application performance and scalable system design
• Experience with automated testing, version control and modern development practices
• An understanding of application security and secure coding principles
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative engineering team
• Clear communication skills and a pragmatic, product-focused approach to development
