Job summary

Reach Ability is expanding its Respite Service in Ireland and is recruiting Full-time Social Care Workers to join our dedicated team. You will help adults with disabilities access high-quality respite care in a safe, person-centred environment, on a 24-hour residential roster.

The role includes waking night shifts, working closely with Team Leaders, and supporting continuity of care with clear protocols and on-call management. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Care or equivalent.
• CORU registration required or evidence of applying.
• Eligibility for CORU registration (evidence required).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a person-centered plan through personal outcomes for each client, promoting self-development, individuality and independence.
• Undertake the role and responsibilities of the Team Leader in their absence.
• Coordinate and ensure the support needs of service users are met in daily life.

Education

Degree in Social Care / Applied Social Studies (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent qualifications

CORU registration or eligibility
