Job summary

Elasticsearch B.V. is seeking a Software Engineer II to own significant parts of elastic.co: building features, systems, and infrastructure for a fast, reliable, scalable site. A strong full-stack background with React/TypeScript and backend experience is essential, including on-call and security triage responsibilities.

You will partner with product managers, designers, and developers to ship features that improve site quality and performance in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a full-stack or frontend role with production experience.
• Strong TS/React depth and backend service exposure.
• Experience shipping and operating production systems.

Responsibilities

• Own features across the full stack from design to deployment.
• Instrument client-side performance and backend metrics/logs.
• Collaborate with product, design and other developers to ship features.
• Write clean, maintainable code and own production behavior.
• Investigate and resolve security vulnerabilities from reproduction to disclosure.
• Participate in code reviews for the team.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues and participate in on-call rotation.
