Job summary

nineDots.io is seeking a Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join its Digital Engineering & Interoperability team in Ireland. You’ll build secure, scalable healthcare applications, APIs and patient-focused experiences across the stack, from modern frontends to robust backend services.

You’ll work with React/Angular/Vue on the frontend and Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET or Python on the backend, creating RESTful APIs, integrating with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years professional software development experience.
• Experience building production-grade applications as part of a team.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Backend development with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET or Python.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL fundamentals.
• Familiar with Git and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining full stack web applications.
• Developing modern frontend applications using React, Angular or Vue.
• Building backend services using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET or Python.
• Designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Working with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or MongoDB.
• Building responsive, accessible and performant user interfaces.
• Contributing to integrations and event-based messaging.
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Supporting production systems through monitoring, bug fixing and incident resolution.
• Working closely with engineers, product teams and UX designers.
