Job summary

Apple, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack/Software Engineer to join the Corporate Functions team in Dublin. You will estimate, plan and deliver new modules, improve existing code, and drive engineering best practices across the asset management, MDM and software distribution services.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams, Product, Design, QE, and SRE to ensure alignment and deliver secure, scalable solutions for Apple employees.

Qualifications

Description

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for estimating and planning software development work. Working closely with a business manager to capture requirements to build new modules or improve existing modules. Evaluate, maintain and improve the existing code base to ensure that it is accurately structured by using software engineering standard methodologies. Participate in peer reviews, learn and apply software engineering best practices to your work.

Responsibilities

• Technical Direction & Design: Drive technical direction and architecture for the team's device lifecycle services. Translate ambiguous problems into well-scoped designs and lead system design reviews.
• Mentorship & Team Growth: Mentor early-career engineers with intention and by example, through pairing, code and design reviews, and day-to-day technical guidance. Foster a strong culture of ownership, engineering rigor, and quality.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own the full development lifecycle for services, APIs, and data integrations across the team's portfolio - driving initiatives through requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Global Representation & Partnership: Collaborate closely with global engineering teams, Product, Design, QE, and SRE to ensure cross-regional alignment. Act as the team's technical voice, elevating the team's achievements to cross-functional teams and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong knowledge enterprise systems, software design and development
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS etc
• Understanding of database modeling and design

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
