Front Office Receptionist – Part-Time

Crowne Plaza Dublin Blanchardstown – 14 meeting rooms, spacious event rooms, Sanctuary Bar, Inca Coffee Lounge, Forchetta Restaurant, 188 bedrooms. We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Office Receptionist to join our busy, internationally branded hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out duties to the standards set in the performance manuals.
  • Handle all guest queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage room allocation for VIPs and IHG One Rewards members.
  • Update and add IHG One Rewards membership through the Holidex system.
  • Collect daily quota of tech cards from guests.
  • Make follow‑up calls to guests after check‑in to ensure satisfaction.
  • Comply with hotel policy on cash handling, billing/credit, security, and key procedures.
  • Liaise with housekeeping to ensure guest requests are attended to.
  • Promote ICH promotions and participate in the upsell program for club rooms, suites, and higher‑rated rooms.
  • Answer telephones, transfer calls, and take messages according to the standard procedure.
  • Assist the porters team with customer requests or information as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Take reservations and check back with customers after specific requests.
  • Complete the AM/PM checklist.
  • Assist team leaders in implementing and enforcing financial controls in the front office.
  • Compile and submit reports as requested.
  • Allocate rooms and groups in line with agreed procedures.
  • Monitor and rectify PM account items; prepare and invoice bills in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Store all registration and backup materials in a neat, scheduled, and organised manner.

  • Hotel front office experience is required.

  • Proficiency with Opera Front Office software.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
