Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder looking for your next challenge, or a motivated customs professional ready to step into a broader operations role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing international forwarding business offering exposure across ocean, air, and road freight. With continued growth and investment, the company is open to considering candidates at various levels, from those with strong customs foundations and the right attitude to experienced operators ready to manage full shipment cycles.

You’ll join a close-knit, high-performing team where you’ll play a key role in coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance, and delivering first-class service to clients.

The Role
  • Coordinate import and export shipments across ocean, air, and road freight.
  • Manage booking, routing, and documentation to ensure efficient and compliant delivery.
  • Prepare and submit customs declarations (import/export, T1/T2L, ENS) where required.
  • Liaise with carriers, hauliers, and clients to track cargo movements and resolve any delays.
  • Support invoicing, data entry, and cost verification in line with internal systems and SOPs.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, overseas agents, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support new business implementation.
The Person

We’re open to considering applicants from a range of backgrounds – from customs‑focused professionals to experienced freight forwarders.

You’ll ideally have:
  • Experience within customs clearance, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
  • A solid understanding of import/export processes and Irish customs procedures.
  • 1–3 years’ experience within customs or freight administration (entry to intermediate level) or 4+ years’ experience managing freight operations (experienced operator level).
  • Proven ability to manage shipment lifecycles from booking to billing.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, and international trade documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and customer‑focused approach with the confidence to build strong relationships across the supply chain.
