We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team on a large‑scale data centre project based in Carlow. This is a freelance position offering an excellent opportunity to work on one of Ireland’s most advanced and high‑profile technology builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical installation works on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and electrical teams to ensure efficient delivery of works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure all works are carried out in compliance with design intent.
• Liaise with the main contractor, design teams, and client representatives to maintain clear communication and smooth project progression.
• Drive quality assurance, safety compliance, and project performance targets.
• Report progress, manage site documentation, and resolve technical or coordination issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large‑scale industrial or data centre projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HV/LV distribution, containment, and commissioning.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications (Degree, Diploma, or Trade background).
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Right to work in Ireland.
