Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Foreman to join a growing construction team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in large-scale projects, a strong background in residential or underground constructions, and proficiency in managing time and personnel efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while upholding the highest quality standards across all site activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Foreman role on large-scale construction projects.
  • Background in residential and/or underground car park construction is highly desirable.
  • Experience with high-rise developments and underground structures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee finishing and general construction works to ensure compliance with design specifications and schedules.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades personnel on site.
  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Welfare policies at all times.
  • Attend site management and planning meetings regularly.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to manage procurement and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee finishing and general construction works to ensure compliance with design specifications and schedules
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades personnel on site
  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Welfare policies at all times
  • Attend site management and planning meetings regularly
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to manage procurement and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor all works on site to ensure quality, compliance, and continuity
  • Record hours worked and coordinate manpower reports with HR and Payroll departments
  • Ensure plant and equipment are used and maintained properly
  • Uphold the highest quality standards across all site activities
Experience you need
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Foreman role on large-scale construction projects
  • Background in residential and/or underground car park construction is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage time and personnel effectively
  • Proficiency in site administration and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade certification or a construction-related degree
  • First Aid and CIF Managing Safely in Construction certification
  • Experience with high-rise developments and underground structures
