Flutter Entertainment plc in Dublin is seeking a Football Trader to manage odds and markets for Flutter’s 9 million football customers globally, driving performance through precise execution and quality standards.

The role involves shift work, evenings and weekends, with opportunities to use AI and data insights to optimize trading, and collaborate with Risk & Trading to enhance operational excellence across the business.

Location : Dublin (2 days/hybrid)

As a Football Trader you will have the opportunity to channel your innovative and inquisitive attitude into producing an exciting, bespoke product to Flutter customers across the world on Flutter’s biggest sport.

We need a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use analytical & communication skills to drive the growth of our products. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys using data to make decisions, is enthusiastic about continuous learning opportunities within a constantly evolving business environment and takes a customer first approach to their work.

The role involves shift work so being available during evenings and weekends is required.

What you’ll take on
Manage Football betting odds and markets for Flutter’s 9 million Football customers globally, driving business performance through exceptional execution and quality standards.

• Monitor betting on football markets, adjusting odds based on real-time data and customer behaviour.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency to reduce error rates and their impact. Consistently follow quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and decision quality.
• Market analysis and planning for the key events shaping our approach to trading the world’s biggest Football events.
• Embrace emerging technologies such as AI to evolve the way we operate.
• Collaborate with the broader Risk & Trading department to collectively deliver against our objectives.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Streamline processes and introduce innovative solutions that contribute to operational excellence and better service delivery.
• Develop skills by taking on initiatives outside of operational tasks. Success in role will give opportunity to collaborate with an array of partners across the business.
• Take a customer centric approach to ensure a flawless experience. Understand our competitor landscape to swiftly adapt to market changes and evolve our proposition.
