Food Service Supervisor
Overview
Responsible for supervising staff, ensuring food quality and safety, managing schedules, and maintaining operations in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays.
- Establish work schedules.
Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service or related field.
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility, teamwork, initiative, dependability.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage: $18.65 per hour (35 to 44 hours per week).
