Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Ballina for a part-time schedule of 18 hours per week (Tue–Thu, 09:00–15:00). The role pays €14.15 per hour with a range of employee benefits and training provided by Sodexo.

You will serve colleagues and customers, assist kitchen and dining operations, and uphold hygiene standards. Great for individuals starting out in hospitality, with a friendly attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we will give you full training.
• Communication and a friendly, can-do attitude are essential.
• Focus on cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients and customers.
• Assist with daily service set up, food prep and serving from our menus.
• Keep service and dining areas clean, tidy and well-organised.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and storage guidelines.
