Food & Beverage Assistant - The Spencer Hotel

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for Food & Beverage Assistants to join our F&B Team at The Spencer Hotel. We have full time and part time roles available.

As part of the MHL Hotel Collection, The 4* Spencer Hotel is in a prime location overlooking the River Liffey in the heart of Dublins financial district. Home to 209 guest bedrooms; 8 Meeting Rooms; The Spencer Cocktail bar & East Restaurant, we are located within 10 minutes walk from OConnell Street, with easy access to Connolly & Dublin Docklands Dart & commuter train stations. The Luas and Dublin Bus services are also within minutes walk from the Hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing a warm welcome for guests and explaining menu options available.
• Ensure there is enough mis en place for service.
• Provide an excellent customer service that anticipates individual guest needs.
• Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
• Prepare and set tables for the next guests.
• Ensure the food service area is left clean and tidy once all the guests have left.
• To be a salesperson and go beyond the general level of service expected.
• To maintain the front and back of house areas to a very high standard of presentation.
• To assist colleagues in other areas without prompting in a spirit of co-operation and teamwork.
• To ensure that health and safety and other procedures are respected (especially HACCP)
