Job summary

inMy Jet Shannon is seeking a Flight Nurse to provide pre-hospital advanced life support during patient transport from initial contact until patient handoff to the receiving facility. You will coordinate with the transport team to ensure timely, safe patient care during air or ground transfer.

You must maintain thorough electronic charting, complete required documentation, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and comply with safety standards and state regulations governing the transport

Qualifications

• Must hold current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Must be licensed/credentialed for pre-hospital care.
• Experience in transport and critical care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the receiving medical facility.
• Maintain thorough electronic charting of patient care.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefing and completes necessary documentation.
• Comply with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to takeoff.
• Must be familiar with scope of practice of the transport team and the State rules and regulations in which the transport team operates.
