Job summary

AGS Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered General Nurse for agency shifts in Kerry and Meath, Ireland. This role requires an active NMBI PIN, up-to-date vaccinations, and a valid driving licence is advantageous.

You will deliver person-centred care following HIQA and NMBI standards, document observations and changes, and work within a multidisciplinary team. Flexible scheduling and full onboarding support are provided to ensure seamless placements.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI PIN and registration.
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship provided).
• Vaccinations up to date as required.
• 6–12 months post-registration nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in line with HIQA and NMBI standards.
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and monitor health status.
• Document observations, incidents, or changes in condition accurately.
• Support and supervise healthcare assistants and other staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate with service users, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain infection prevention, health and safety, and best practice.
• Promote dignity, respect and independence in care interactions.
