Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Ireland is seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their expanding Autism and Assessment Department. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the option to conduct assessments both in-person and remotely. Responsibilities include leading diagnostic processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ADHD assessments, hold necessary registrations, and demonstrate a commitment to child-centred practice. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in ADHD and neurodevelopmental assessment.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Up-to-date training in Children First, GDPR, and Safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the diagnostic process for children and adolescents referred for assessments.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee or initiate medication management where clinically appropriate.
