Job summary

Design Build Search is recruiting a Site Manager (Fit-out) for a landmark development in Dublin city centre. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, programme adherence and top-quality finishes while coordinating design teams and client representatives.

The role requires proven fit-out delivery experience on live environments, strong communication, and the ability to drive performance with senior management support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of construction and project execution.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality fit-out projects in live/occupied sites.
• Experience with digital construction tools, reporting platforms and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations daily to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.
• Maintain high health, safety, quality and client service standards.
• Report progress promptly to the Project/Contracts Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet contract standards with minimal rework.
• Plan, coordinate and execute works per contract documents.
• Maintain strong relationships with the construction team, subs and suppliers.
• Resource and schedule work aligned with the construction program.

Design Build Search are working closely with 1 of Irelands leading main contractors. Due to securing a landmark development in Dublin City centre they have multiple openings for site managers (Fit-out) the successful applicant(s) will join an award-winning team and have full support from senior management. Within this position you will oversee site operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring work is done safely, on time & to the highest quality standard. Sectors: Commercial, Data centre, Aviation, Pharma Reporting to: Project Managers / Contracts Manager

Requirements

• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
• Previous experience delivering high-quality fit-out projects within live or occupied environments.
• Experience using digital construction tools, reporting platforms and quality management systems.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package) Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Keen eye for finishes and a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Must be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Self-starter with good judgment when working under pressure.
• Good manager with the ability to motivate and drive the workforce.
• Commercially conscious individual who demonstrates market and competitor awareness.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure the our clients expectations are met by delivering a quality product to the end user while fostering professional and amicable relations with design teams and client representatives.
• Maintain the highest standards in health & safety, quality and client service / ensuring that contracts are completed safely, per programme, on budget and snag free.
• Report progress accurately and in a timely fashion to your manager.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors ensuring their work is completed to the required standard with little or no rework.
• Plan, co-ordinate, execute the works and deliver the project as per contract documents.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and supply chain.
• Resource and schedule work in line with the project construction program.
• Work closely with the project QS advising on any upcoming issues.
