Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Leadership: Own site safety standards and compliance.
• Programme Management: Understand delivery programme and dates, report weekly.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and resolve issues to maintain quality.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure inductions and sign-off sheets are logged.
• Snagging & Handover: Lead snagging teams for high-quality handovers.
• Labour & Material Tracking: Track daily site labour and materials.
• Unit Management: Oversee each unit from plastering to final handover.
• Team Engagement: Participate in daily meetings and support the site team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regular updates with Site Admin, Completions, Sales.
• Customer Service: Deliver best-in-class experience to homeowners.
• Aftercare Support: Address issues promptly and escalate when needed.
• Brand Representation: Uphold Cairn brand and professionalism.

Finishing Forepeople in Cairn are the ones who bring it all together at the end - delivering homes that are not just finished but finished well. It's a role that blends technical knowledge, attention to detail, team coordination and customer care.

We're looking for a skilled Finishing Foreperson to bring the final touches to life while working alongside a passionate and collaborative team.

Working in our Donabate development, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality residential units, taking ownership from plastering stage through to final handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Health & Safety Leadership: Take ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
• Programme Management: Understand the delivery programme and RTS/RTO dates, report on progress weekly, and proactively address any delays to keep the project on track.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
• Quality Assurance: Carry out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality and momentum.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure inductions, sign-off sheets, and IFCOs are completed and logged correctly on the DMS platform (Zutec).
• Snagging & Handover: Lead and manage snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers. Maintain and close out the snag list in coordination with subcontractors.
• Labour & Material Tracking: Complete daily allocation sheets to track site labour and material usage.
• Unit Management: Take ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging, and final handover.
• Team Engagement: Participate in daily whiteboard meetings and collaborate with the site team to drive performance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with the Site Administrator, Completions Coordinator, and Sales Team to provide regular updates on unit handovers.
• Customer Service: Engage with homeowners and potential purchasers, delivering a best-in-class customer experience that reflects Cairn's values.
• Aftercare Support: Address aftercare issues promptly and escal
