A well-established finance firm in Dublin is seeking a Part-Time Financial Controller. The role involves financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting for all transactions. The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant with over 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, proficient in Sage 50 and payroll systems. This role offers a salary of €50K pro rata and other benefits including biannual bonuses and pension contributions.

Overview

Part-Time Financial Controller – Dublin City Centre. Join a dynamic and long-established architecture practice in the heart of Dublin. With over 60 years in business, they’ve helped shape some of the city’s most iconic buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial reporting & monthly management accounts
  • Bookkeeping & accounting for all transactions
  • Bank reconciliations, payroll, pensions
  • Billing & credit control
  • Budgets, forecasts & variance analysis
  • Cashflow reports
  • Supplier invoices & expenses
  • Maintain fee income spreadsheet
  • HR support: personnel files & basic employment law
  • Rent & service charge payments
  • Statutory & Tax
  • Liaise with auditors during year-end
  • Prepare accounts & reconciliations for audit
  • VAT (bi-monthly), PAYE/PRSI (monthly), and other returns
Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Accountant
  • 3+ years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Sage 50 & payroll systems
  • Strong admin & organisational skills
