Work closely with operational teams to support cost control, margin management, and profitability across rooms, food and beverage, and labour.
Oversee stock control, purchasing processes, and supplier relationships.
Ensure payroll processes and labour cost reporting are accurate and timely.
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and finance providers as required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory obligations, and internal policies.
Management and development of the on‑site finance team
Continuous improvement of systems, controls, and processes
Risk management and internal financial controls
Support of capital expenditure and refurbishment projects
Provision of clear financial insight to support operational decision‑making
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Several years' post‑qualification experience in a hands‑on financial controller or senior finance role.
Experience within hotels, hospitality, leisure, or a similarly operational, multi‑department environment.
Strong commercial awareness and a practical, problem‑solving mindset.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with non‑finance colleagues.
Strong Excel and systems skills; experience with hotel finance systems such as Sage or Opera is advantageous.
Comfortable being based primarily on site in Dublin within a fast‑paced operational environment.
A competitive salary is on offer, aligned with experience, along with the opportunity to work as part of a stable, experienced management team within a leading Dublin hotel. The role provides strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to broaden responsibility as the business evolves.
All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
