Finance Officer (Financial Reporting) – Limerick

A large, mission-driven not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Finance Officer to join its Finance Department. This organisation provides a wide range of community and support services across multiple counties and places strong emphasis on inclusion, quality and service excellence.

The Role

The Finance Officer will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Overseeing purchasing card processes and maintaining card registers
  • Supporting procurement compliance and accounts payable activities
  • Monitoring cashflow and assisting with banking administration
  • Providing cover for finance colleagues and contributing to departmental projects
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong experience in financial operations, including reconciliations and monthly reporting
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and sound judgement
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a busy environment
