Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Finance Department. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision‑making, driving strategic growth, and ensuring the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling and Analysis
  • Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management account packs with detailed financial forecasts using historical data, current trends, and real‑time business insights
  • Lead and manage a finance team to ensure professional growth
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and business leaders
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Promote and implement robust financial planning processes to support strategic objectives
  • Perform sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of variable changes on revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise performance, manage costs, and drive efficiencies
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights using Lean Methodologies and Tools
Strategic Initiatives
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, including acquisitions, product launches, and strategic initiatives, through scenario modeling
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance and margin improvement plans
Process Improvement
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain financial systems and tools
Education and Experience Required
Education
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Finance Manager in manufacturing operations
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality financial analysis to drive improved financial performance
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and cross‑functional teams globally
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in applying Lean methodologies and tools
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and decision‑making skills
  • Experience with project management and IT implementation is a significant advantage
