Job summary

Bystronic Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain, repair, install and commission press brakes across the assigned region. You will diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software faults, perform hardware/software updates and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting, customer focus and the ability to travel up to 90% of the time within the region.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and commission Bystronic press brakes.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software faults.
• Perform machine modifications, updates and retrofits.
• Configure CNC/PLC systems and machine parameters.
• Carry out software updates and verify machine operation.
• Support complex troubleshooting and mentor others.
• Complete service reports and update CRM docs.
• Order required spare parts and share knowledge with colleagues.
