This is a cleanroom-based Field Service Engineer role, working directly on advanced planar semiconductor equipment — specifically Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) systems. If you are passionate about working hands‑on with the cutting‑edge tools that make modern chip manufacturing possible, this is the role for you.
Please note: While EBARA is widely known for vacuum and pump technology, this position sits within our Systems division. You will be working exclusively on CMP tools on the fab floor — not on pumps or vacuum systems.
Our Field Service Engineers provide on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom environment. Working to a shift pattern of days and night shifts, you will analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems. You will also perform installations, repairs, upgrades as well as preventive maintenance on CMP systems installed at the customer site. You will be in charge of maintaining an assigned installation equipment base.
