Job summary

European Tech Recruit, on behalf of a leading engineering company, is hiring a field-based Service Engineer to support customers across the Dublin region. You'll service, fault-find, commission and refurbish HVAC and air handling systems while building long-term customer relationships.

Working with advanced climate control equipment, you will read technical documentation, produce service reports, and ensure safe, high-standard work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience servicing engineering or HVAC capital equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, air handling or ventilation systems.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Ability to read technical documentation and produce professional service reports.
• Good understanding of airflow measurement and system performance testing.
• HNC/HND or equivalent Engineering qualification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and humidity control equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Commission and configure new equipment.
• Conduct airflow measurements and system performance assessments.
• Perform system upgrades and refurbishments both on-site and in workshop facilities.
• Produce detailed technical service reports and site documentation.
• Recommend replacement parts and refurbishment solutions to customers.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify additional service opportunities.
