Job summary

A leading energy organization in Cork is looking for an Engineer C&I to manage all operational activities related to Control and Instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with SCADA and a relevant degree in Electrical or similar fields. This role involves both planned and emergent tasks to ensure operational integrity across the region.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control systems, or similar.
  • Experience working with Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • Track record managing calibration in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all planned, reactive, corrective, and emergent C&I operational activities.
  • Deliver scheduled electrical maintenance and corrosion protection work programs.
  • Contribute to maintenance and operation of Distribution and Transmission SCADA/DCS.

Skills

Experience with Instrumentation and Control Systems
Operating and maintaining SCADA
Managing calibration of process instrumentation systems

Education

Job description

Opportunity to join leading energy organisation based out of Cork office. Engineer C&I is responsible for managing all planned, reactive, corrective and emergent C&I operational activities on the Network in the Southern region. Delivery of all C&I operational activities planned, corrective, reactive and emergent across the Network. Managing the delivery of all planned, reactive, corrective and emergent activities relating to electrical maintenance and corrosion protection (CP) work programs. Providing flexibility to work across regions as required to address operational needs as they arise. Contributing to the maintenance and operation of the Distribution and Transmission SCADA/DCS.

Experience
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Instrumentation / Control systems / Electronics Eng. or similar
  • Relevant experience working with Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • Proven track record operating and maintaining SCADA / Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Proven track record managing the calibration of process instrumentation systems within a heavily regulated environment.
