Job summary

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland is seeking a field-based Healthcare Technician to install medical devices in patients' homes and hospitals in the Limerick region. The role includes hands-on training for patients, monitoring device use, and ensuring safety and compliance with prescriptions and regulations.

The successful candidate will provide feedback to prescribers, support patient autonomy, and contribute to ensuring high satisfaction for patients and clinicians throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience.
• Knowledge of mechanics and electronics.
• Ability to install and train patients on medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Install Medical Devices in patients' homes and in hospitals according to local regulations.
• Train the patient in the use of equipment according to local regulations.
• Provide feedback to the prescriber on patient autonomy, follow-up and compliance.
• Ensure patient and prescriber satisfaction as part of treatment follow-up.
• Trace incidents relating to materiovigilance.
