A leading medical technology company is seeking a Facilities Technician in Enniscorthy to maintain and monitor HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other utilities. The ideal candidate will have a Trade’s Certificate, up to 2 years of HVAC experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the EHS & Facilities Manager, the primary focus of this position will be responsible for the upkeep of the factory utilities, facilities, and grounds in particular HVAC Systems, Water Systems, Clean Utilities and Contractor Management. You will oversee systems that include heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, and electrical systems. You will be expected to also be able and willing to take a hands‑on approach to solving issues quickly and ensure the factory is maintained to the required level.

Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end‑stage renal disease and maintenance.
As the Facilities Technician, you perform preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot problems. Repair equipment and systems when they break, and must document everything actioned. To be successful in this role, you must be able to understand, recommend and install new systems. Provide and add corrections to Standard Operating Procedures and assist engineers in evaluating new equipment or technology. Replace equipment and components as necessary with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and major trades, such as carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration is required.
You will conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with all requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position. Maintain accurate records for reporting. You may be required to do both interior or exterior hands‑on maintenance duties (such as floor and facility cleaning, furniture moving, snow removal, landscaping).
