Job summary

ALS Life Sciences Ltd in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, seeks a Facilities Technician to join our laboratory operations. The role covers receiving deliveries, stock control, store management, waste handling, and coordinating with contractors. Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30, with a €32,000 salary.

Proficiency with Excel and good English are essential; a driving licence is preferable. This is a chance to support a health-focused global team at ALS.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and putting away deliveries.
• Organising store rooms and keeping areas clean and orderly.
• Carrying out stock takes to assist with orders.
• Keeping crates clean and storing stock orderly.
• Compact cardboard/plastic and assist recycling.
• Undertake basic repairs as allocated by Management Team.
• Ensure records are completed concisely, accurately and on time.
• Support external contractors/Facilities visitors as directed by Management Team.
• Ensure waste streams are managed effectively.
• Assist with ad-hoc cleaning to maintain high standards.
• Place ad-hoc orders as requested.
• Play an active role in maintaining health and safety standards.

ALS Life Sciences Ltd are seeking a Facilities Technician for our laboratory business in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

The successful candidate will initially be responsible for:

• Receiving, checking, and putting away deliveries
• Organising the store rooms while ensuring that all store areas remain clean and orderly
• Carrying out stock takes to assist the team in placing orders
• Keeping crates clean and taking ownership of the orderly storage of stock.
• Compacting cardboard/plastic and assisting with recycling
• Undertaking basic repairs as allocated from Management Team.
• To ensure all records are completed concisely, accurately and on time.
• To assist with managing and supporting external contractors/Facilities visitors as directed by Management Team.
• Ensure that waste streams are managed effectively, adapting where required.
• Support ad-hoc cleaning to ensure highest standards are maintained.
• Places ad-hoc orders as requested.
• Play an active role in maintaining health and safety standards.

The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm working Mondays to Fridays.
