Job summary

DPS Group Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Kerry to oversee operation and maintenance of Facilities Systems. The role requires delivering procedures, budgets, and SME guidance for GMP and related systems.

You will supervise contractors, develop maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement across HVAC and clean systems while mentoring junior staff in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ pharmaceutical/industrial/semiconductor process experience.
• Third level qualification in Mechanical, Chemical or Science.
• Good knowledge of GMP and validation of systems.
• Project management skills and ability to lead Facilities projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Maintenance Processing, Trackwise and CAD advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise all temporary contractor personnel in the Facilities Department.
• Develop operational/maintenance procedures to achieve best practice and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously develop Facilities systems to maximise operational and maintenance efficiency.
• Provide operational and investment budget support to the Engineering Facilities Lead.
• Act as SME owner for GMP and Non-GMP systems as applicable.
• Troubleshoot process specific equipment as needed.
• Generate data and reports to support Annual Product Quality Reviews and regulatory submissions.
• Support Change Control and Commissioning/Qualification activities.
• Provide Facilities focused input to all organisation projects.
• Develop and plan shutdown schedules with Facilities and Business Units.
• Provide timely feedback on potential issues (resources, technical issues etc).
• Mentor interim Engineers and Students as required.

Facilities Engineer - Kerry

Reporting to the Engineering Facilities Lead, the Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all specified Facilities Systems and Equipment.

The successful Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years’ pharmaceutical/Industrial/Semi-conductor process experience

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Scheduling and supervising all temporary contractor personnel in the Facilities Department

• Flexible approach to work and practices/procedures required
• Knowledge of SAP Maintenance Processing, Trackwise and CAD highly advantageous
