Job summary

City of Dublin YMCA is seeking a cleaner to join our facilities team in Dublin. The role covers cleaning designated areas, maintaining hygiene across multiple hubs, and ensuring safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

You will work 25 hours per week at a rate of €14.50 per hour, with flexibility to cover evenings and weekends as required. You will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, polishing, waste removal, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Proven cleaning experience.
• Experience using buffing and vacuuming equipment.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and disinfect touchpoints regularly.
• Maintain supplies and report hazards.
• Work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as required.
