Job summary

Castle Vets in Clondalkin, west Dublin, invites a dedicated small animal veterinarian to join a close-knit team. You’ll deliver routine consultations, perform handling and dental/surgical procedures, and benefit from a supportive environment with experienced colleagues.

The clinic offers modern equipment including digital X-ray, an on-site Indexx lab, and a strong focus on work-life balance and CPD.

Qualifications

• Qualified small animal veterinarian with confidence in routine consultations and procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously while staying connected with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine consultations and common routine surgeries in a busy small animal practice.
• Collaborate with vets, nurses and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

The Role:

• Full-time - 40 hrs/week over 4 days

We’re seeking a Small Animal Vet with a passion for delivering outstanding care, that has built good initial experience and confidence in routine consultation and operations.

For over 25 years, Castle Vets has been providing trusted, compassionate, and affordable care for pets and their people. Now, with our brand-new refurbished clinic, we’re ready to welcome a new vet to join our close-knit, supportive team.

You’ll be working alongside 4 friendly vets, 4 fantastic nurses, a super animal care assistant, and a warm, welcoming receptionist. We love what we do, we support each other, and we always find time for a laugh during the day.

Our newly renovated, fully equipped small animal clinic has everything you need to thrive, with modern equipment to support top-quality care:

• Purpose-built surgical and dental suites
• Digital X-ray
• Indexx lab
