Laya Healthcare in Cork, hybrid, seeks a Director of Risk & Compliance to join its Executive Leadership Team. You will oversee Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Governance and Regulatory Affairs, ensuring fair customer outcomes and regulatory alignment.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will partner with the Board and Audit & Risk Committee to shape strategy, strengthen resilience and ensure the business operates within its risk appetite.

Qualificações

• Senior leadership experience in risk, compliance or governance.
• Proven track record leading teams in regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience engaging with boards and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to drive organisational change and strategic decisions.
• Postgraduate qualification in a related discipline may be preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and governance.
• Oversee risk reporting to the Board and Committees.
• Engage with Central Bank of Ireland and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance frameworks remain effective and proportionate.
• Champion ethics and customer-focused conduct.
• Build and develop Risk and Compliance teams.
• Influence strategic decisions alongside the Executive Leadership Team.
