ForeFront Sports is an event management agency which delivers high-quality sporting events and experiences. We offer turnkey solutions to all types of events, from staging to marketing & PR as well as consultancy services. We are a young, ambitious and hands on team who care for our clients and projects and are now looking to add an Events Manager to grow with us.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of our events portfolio. This role requires strong project management skills, hands‑on operational experience, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast‑paced, outdoor settings.
You will be responsible for overseeing events from concept through to delivery and post‑event evaluation, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Successful candidates should be able to identify new growth opportunities for the events division.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Plan, manage, and deliver events from initial concept to live delivery and breakdown
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and event schedules
- Coordinate logistics including venues, equipment, suppliers, staffing, and transport
Project Management
- Lead multiple event projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met
- Manage event budgets, track expenditure, and report on financial performance
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans, particularly for outdoor and weather‑dependent events
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Liaise with clients, sponsors, local authorities, venues, and governing bodies
- Source, brief, and manage suppliers and contractors
- Coordinate event staff, volunteers, and on‑site teams
Event Division Growth
- Play a key role in the growth and development of the ForeFront Sports Events Division strategy and implementation
- Contribute to the evolution of event formats, operational processes, and delivery standards
- Support the identification of new event opportunities, partnerships, and locations
- Provide insights and recommendations based on event performance, feedback, and industry trends
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in event or project management
- Proven experience delivering outdoor events (essential)
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Experience managing budgets and suppliers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to travel for event purposes, client meetings, site visits, event set up, delivery & takedown
- Full Irish Driving License
Desirable
- Experience of large scale sports or participation‑based events
- Knowledge of event safety planning and risk management
- Relevant qualification in event management or project management
