We’re working with a well-established, independently owned hospitality group to recruit a commercially focused Sales & Events Lead. This role suits a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering high-quality events across corporate, private and leisure markets.

What you’ll do
  • Lead sales activity for accommodation and events, developing strategies to grow revenue across domestic and international channels.
  • Source and convert new business: corporate accounts, agencies and event organisers.
  • Manage the full event lifecycle from enquiry to post-event review, ensuring high standards and smooth operations.
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate logistics, catering and guest services.
  • Produce proposals, manage budgets, negotiate contracts and oversee invoicing and deposits.
  • Track and report on pipeline, bookings and financial performance.
  • Use CRM/booking systems and online channels to drive visibility and reservations.
  • Provide occasional front-line event support as required.
Who we’re looking for
  • At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality sales/events or similar.
  • Demonstrable success in hitting sales targets and growing accounts.
  • Comfortable engaging with corporate clients, agencies, and tour/booking partners.
  • Organised, confident communicator and a natural relationship builder.
  • Familiarity with online distribution channels, OTAs and basic analytics.
  • Proficient with MS Office and common booking/CRM tools.
