Job summary

Cashel Palace, a Relais & Châteaux luxury hotel in Cashel, is seeking a Spa Evening Cleaner to join our Wellness at Cashel Palace team. You will reset the Spa for the following morning, ensuring every guest space is immaculate and ready for the next guests.

Hours: 6pm–10pm, three evenings per week; the role is essential to maintaining the standards of a five-star spa and the attention to hygiene and presentation that our guests expect.

Qualifications

• Exceptionally thorough, methodical and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the detailed evening clean and reset of our Spa, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, changing rooms, showers, sauna, steam room and pool surrounds.
• Clean and sanitise floors, tiles, glass, mirrors, fixtures, fittings and surfaces to exceptional hygiene and presentation standards.
• Pay particular attention to wet areas and ensure all spaces are left immaculate, safe and guest-ready for the following morning.
• Complete agreed cleaning schedules and checks thoroughly and consistently.
• Use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment safely and correctly in accordance with training and hotel procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, defects or anything that could detract from the guest experience.
• Maintain clear communication and handovers with Facilities, the Lead Spa Receptionist and Lead Spa Therapist, ensuring priorities and outstanding issues are understood and followed through.
• Take personal pride and ownership in leaving The Spa pristine at the end of every shift.
